Tampa Real Estate Forums is an easy to use do follow forums platform that is easy to register and easy to navigate that allows up to three links in your signature. Real Estate agents can add their homes for sale and for rent. Mortgage lenders can discuss the latest happenings in the world of lending. A REALTOR in Austin has done the same thing, but I think it is more for the tech savy folks. I was planning to do one that is more for the professional. Expect to see me poke around at yours, I am interseted in seeing what you have done.
It is a interesting new … the idea of the forum is very useful for all the people related with this business about the Real Estate … we can post our questions, curiosities and doubts … I register in that because I need that information.

That’s fantastic, I hope I don’t have to be from Tampa or Florida to join this forum. I have been recently looking for a forum to join actually so I can discuss with professionals investment strategies.
Since out of Tampa area agents are welcome I just might have to check it out
There really aren’t many real estate forums out there surprisingly – so hearing of a new one always gets my attention

I have started a similar project in Houston, Texas. Only have set it up for there to be categories for other areas of the nation. My forum will have do follow signitures as well. I will be installing a blog platform as well so that everyone can have a their own soap box to stand on via the web. The forum can be found at http://houstonhomessource.com/forum

Wow happy to hear that there’s a new real estate forum. This kind of site where real people could share their thoughts and learn new things from each other. This is an accomplishment.
Congratulations on starting the real estate forum. Forums can be hard to get off the ground, but if you can stick with it, and get enough momentum – they can really generate a lot of interest and activity. Are you going to be advertising the forum (business cards, TV, billboards) to promote it? Or are you going to primarily rely on internet marketing, and promotion here to get the word out?
How is the Tampa agents forum going? Is there enough interest, participation, and activity to have made it a worthwhile effort?
I would give it a try in my area if I thought there would be participation.
This is a cool idea. It will probably become a good recruiting tool as tech savvy agents from your area realize your on top of your game with forums, blogs, etc. Good to you.
Nice job on the forum. It looks as though you have a great start on it. Would you mind posting back with some information on success and failures. I was thinking of doing this in my market but was afraid I wouldn’t get much participation.

Nice job on the forum, the category structure looks neat and the default phpbb design doesn’t look that bad, I would however recommend that you install vbulletin as I have found out that phpbb is one of the easiest forum scripts to hack

What a great idea! I hope the forum is a success for you. You guys have done a great job building up a strong Internet presence. Like Bangkok Property said, I hope the forum will be open to more than just discussing Tampa properties.

I think you guys have done an amazing job. Great idea and hope it goes really well. I have joined both the forum and FB group. I suggest you create more threads, the “Tampa Foreclosures” is something I expect alot of comments on.

Forums are a great place to bring place online as they allow people to share their ideas. I like that it is a dofollow forum making it more attracting to others to join.

Just wanted to thank all that have joined the forum and have commented on here, I have to admit I have not had the time to make the forum into what I wanted it to be but I am not going to give up yet. I do believe having a local forum can work if you have the time, so for those you are thinking about starting a local forum I would say give it a shot, unfortunately I having been able to put all my efforts but have made some great friends and contacts along the way.

Glad to see that the forum is doing well. Mine is getting busier over time but still a little on the slow side.
I tried it but it was full of spam and none of my agents wanted to help keep up with it. We use Google group to keep up with our agents now

I haven’t used my wordpress much, too busy blogging on active rain or the skyrealtyaustin.com site. My broker actually added a forum to our site and it has been very successful. Good luck with yours in Florida.

Starting a forum is a great idea! It can be very beneficial, especially in an area that doesn’t already have one. Also, using facebook to expand is smart as it is starting to attract a larger variety and age of people.
I have already created a Forum on my site to help other people interested in Real estate market in Singapore.
